Horse trekking tour in spectacular Khustai National Park, situated 90km southwest from Ulaanbaatar, which is famous for the reintroduction of Takhi wild horses or Przewalski’s Horse (Equus ferus przewalskii). Visit a nomad family and enjoy the endless wildlife seeing opportunities, including wild horses, red deers, marmots and other wildlife, while spending your days riding horses.
Ulaanbaatar (hotel pickup and drop-off)
Meet at 9.00 am and drive to Khustai National Park. Check-in to Khustai ger camp. The Natural Preserve covers 506 sq. km and has been protected since 1993 to conserve biodiversity and facilitate the reintroduction to the wild of Takhi wild horse or Przewalski’s wild horse. Visit to Information Center, souvenir shop and watch a documentary film about the park. After lunch, we start horse riding to watch the Takhi wild horses and other wildlife. Return back to the ger camp in the evening. Overnight stay at ger camp (L/D) 100km
Horseback riding to Moltsog small sand dunes and visit a nomad family, after breakfast. Lunch at a nomad family. Return back to the ger camp at 3.00 pm and drive back to Ulaanbaatar. (B/L)
