Experience the real-life of nomads, while staying with a nomad family in Terelj National Park, situated 50-76km northeast from Ulaanbaatar. Visit the most famous tourist attractions of National Park, Turtle Rock and Aryapala meditation center on the way to the nomad family. Learn the custom and tradition of Mongolians by trying daily works of nomads, milking livestock, making dairy products, preparing traditional meals, playing traditional games.

Meet at 8.30 am and drive to Terelj National Park – a picturesque place of high cliffs of Mesozoic granites. Huge blocks of granite have been eroded by wind, rain, frost, ice and natural acids into bizarre shapes, as if by some giant sculptor. On the way to National Park stop at Ovoo – the pile of stone formed as a cairn. Visit the natural formation, Turtle Rock. Walking to the Aryapala Initiation & Meditation Center. Arrive at the nomad family by lunchtime. Try Mongolian BBQ for lunch and then have a close look at the daily life of nomads and try traditional dairy products, experience their daily life. Horseback ride in the Park, after breakfast. Lunch at the local ger camp and drive to the world’s tallest equestrian statue, Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex (40m) located in a spectacular valley. Then drive back to Ulaanbaatar. (B/L) 130km
